Scope

This notice explains how information is handled when you use the WonderTag app, visit wondertag.olioliver.com, download the app from releases.wondertag.olioliver.com, or contact us.

Information handled by the WonderTag app

WonderTag reads and edits the audio files you select, including their metadata, tags, and artwork, and performs the rename operations you request. This processing takes place locally on your Mac, using your device's processor and storage.

WonderTag does not upload your music library, tags, or artwork to us. There is currently no WonderTag account or sign-in.

Update checks

WonderTag can check whether a newer version of the app is available, either when you choose "Check for Updates" yourself or, if you allow it, periodically in the background. Either kind of check contacts releases.wondertag.olioliver.com and may involve standard request metadata such as your IP address, user agent, and the date and time of the request, similar to the website and download requests described below. Update checks never send your audio files, tags, artwork, or any other content from your library, and never send information about your Mac's hardware or software configuration.

Website and download information

The WonderTag website does not use first-party analytics, advertising trackers, third-party tracking scripts, or cookies.

The website and app downloads are served by Cloudflare. When you request a page or download, Cloudflare processes standard request data needed to deliver and protect the service. This may include your IP address, user agent, requested URL, and the date and time of the request. Cloudflare may make aggregate request statistics available to WonderTag through its dashboard. WonderTag does not add its own tracking to these requests or use them to create visitor profiles.

Communications

If you email wonder-team@outlook.com, we receive the information you include in your message, along with your email address and related message details. We use this information to respond to your question, bug report, or feedback and to follow up when needed. We do not add your address to a marketing list.

How information is used

Website and download request data is processed to deliver files and pages, maintain security, diagnose problems, and understand aggregate traffic. Information you send by email is used to handle and respond to your communication.

Service providers and disclosure

Cloudflare provides the infrastructure that serves the website and downloads. Our email is hosted using Microsoft's Outlook.com service. These providers process information as needed to provide their services and under their own privacy terms. We may also disclose information when required by law, or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, or security of WonderTag, its users, or others. We do not sell personal information.

Retention

Files processed by the WonderTag app remain on your Mac and under your control; WonderTag does not retain a separate copy. Cloudflare retains request data according to its service and retention practices. We keep email correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed to handle the conversation, maintain necessary support records, or meet legal obligations.

Security

We use reasonable measures appropriate to the limited information we handle and rely on our service providers' safeguards for information processed through their services. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices and rights

WonderTag has no account or stored user profile. Files processed by the app remain under your control on your Mac. You may contact us to ask about personal information associated with an email or website request, or to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when our data practices or legal obligations change. The date at the top of this page shows when the notice was last revised. If a change materially affects how we handle personal information, we will provide notice appropriate to the change.
